Institutional demand for digital assets is real and growing. The way to invest in them hasn't kept up: for most allocators it still means ETFs and spot. What they actually want is what they already get from every other asset class, from capital protection to yield. On digital assets, that market barely exists.
In our opening session, Patrick Loepfe, who helped industrialize Switzerland's structured products market before co-founding GenTwo, places digital assets in the longer story of how any asset becomes bankable. Florian Marty then makes the specific case: where the demand for structured products on digital assets is, why banks and asset managers struggle to meet it, and the issuance model that changes that.
