GenTwo & Semoto Partner to Bridge TradFi and Web3

Zurich/London, 31 March 2025 – Semoto, the world's largest B2B network for Web3, and GenTwo, the leading Swiss fintech dedicated to democratizing financial product creation, announce a strategic partnership to accelerate adoption of crypto and blockchain-focused investments among non-crypto native institutional and qualified investors.

GenTwo & Semoto Partner to Bridge TradFi and Web3

The collaboration combines Semoto's extensive Web3 ecosystem of more than 500 companies with GenTwo's innovative securitization platform. Together, they will facilitate end-to-end solutions for crypto funds, Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization projects, and other Web3 ventures seeking to attract institutional capital.

Despite the crypto market reaching a $2.7 trillion market cap, it represents less than 3% of global stock markets, indicating significant growth potential. A key challenge for the sector has been connecting crypto-native projects with traditional financial institutions that speak different languages and operate within different frameworks.

"The Web3 industry is finally embracing maturity," said Marco Morazzoni, Founder and CEO of Semoto. "Adoption, particularly financial and institutional adoption, is what will change this industry. GenTwo opens the door of extremely well-developed institutional products to the crypto world, providing the credibility and compatibility needed to reach traditional investors."

"By combining our strengths, we're democratizing access to the expanded investment universe," said Philippe A. Naegeli, Co-Founder and CEO of GenTwo. "This partnership enables innovative crypto and blockchain projects to access institutional capital through familiar banking channels, while allowing traditional investors to participate in these exciting opportunities through the safety and structure they require."

The partnership addresses a critical pain point for Web3: while many crypto funds and blockchain projects struggle to raise capital through traditional channels, GenTwo's certificates transform these investments into bankable securities with ISINs that can be held in any custody account, making them accessible to banks, family offices, and other institutional investors.
