Patrick is the co-founder and Chairman of GenTwo. He's also, in my opinion, one of the unsung heroes of the Swiss Financial Services community, having done a lot behind the scenes to transform and revolutionize the structured products business in this country.
Patrick's career has been about making things easier, about automation or – to use the jargon – reducing friction. He did that when he was at Vontobel and created the Deritrade platform. And now he's doing it again here at GenTwo.
In our conversation we talk about reimagining securitization as the "containerization" of finance. We talk about assetization. We talk about use cases. And we talk about a potential future world in which you can take out your phone, click a button and create a financial product.
